Is It Wrong to Be Funny with Our Teacher?

Question
I was learning tajwid with my teacher and she asked me what the sakt sign looks like. I saw my paper and saw > sign and thought it was that. Then I was like maybe it’s not that but because I’m stupid. I wanted to be funny and I said that the > sign is the sakt sign and she laughed.
I didn’t know if it was haram but I thought maybe it is because I want to be funny but I did it either way. I don’t know if this is kufr. Do I have to tell my teacher what I did? If I don’t am I the reason she left Islam for laughing at my joke? I’m scared now.

I pray you are in good faith and health.
It was wrong of you to give an answer like that. However, you will not be sinful. As you didn’t give a wrong answer, you just said, sakta is sakta, but your intention was to make the teacher laugh. Rest assured, you have nothing to worry about, neither it is disbelief, Your mere regret is sufficient and part of repentance.
Regret is Part of Sound Repentance
