If a person sent some bad images on a chat but then repented, do they need to tell the other people not to look at them?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate
Yes, you should tell the other person to delete the images and ask forgiveness from him that you will stop from now. Also, you should continue repenting from the sin and pray to Allah (Most High) for forgiveness, guidance, and divine success in the future.
Religion is of two parts. One is refraining from disobedience, and the other is the performance of acts of obedience. The first is more important and serious.
Everyone can obey, but only the truly sincere can abandon their desires. The Prophet of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “the true emigrant is the one who abandons evil, and the true warrior is the one who fights his passions.” [Hakim, Mustadrak]
We pray to Allah (Most High] to make us actual emigrants who abandon evil and warriors who fight against sin and desires, Amin
