In a world concerned with the physical, the superficial we see that lives remain empty, purposeless. Let us close our eyes to the world and look inward.

Shaykh Yusuf goes on by giving remedies to cosigning things to self, and that is to make everything for Allah. No matter how small or large make it all for Allah. People are a means to the ultimate good which is Allah Most High.
