15- Reverence for the Prophetic Community – Saving Our Souls – Shaykh Yusuf Weltch

In this episode, Shaykh Yusuf Weltch gives guidance on not having rancor for the prophetic companions and the prophetic household. Those whom Allah is well pleased with. Shaykh Yusuf goes on to convey that there are several verses from the Qur’an that speak of the blessed nature of the companions and the prophetic household.

He goes on to explain who are Ahl Sunna wal Jam’a (The people of the prophetic way and the consensus group). He shows what are their qualities in sticking to the prophetic way. They are 1) love and respect of the prophetic household, 2) love, mercy, and reverence towards all the companions, and 3) respect for Muslims in general.

Shaykh Yusuf closes by giving an important counsel of not deeming believers disbelievers, and how it is important to think well of the prophetic community.
