These verses provide further detailed insight into the character and actions of those persons who say: “We believe in Allah and in the Last Day,” while in fact, they do not believe. Such people block the way to guide others and mistreat the weak in society. When confronted, they outright deny it. Allah Most High says unquestionably that they are the corruptors, and they cause problems and sedition in the land. Unfortunately for them, they have purchased errors in exchange for guidance. They will always see what is wrong as right and what is right as wrong.
