In this episode of Seekers Complete Qur’an Tafsir, Shaykh Abdul-Rahim Reasat continues his commentary of Sura al-Baqara, verses 38-42. The first half of this section focuses on the consequence of the story of Adam (Blessings and peace be upon him) and Shaitaan. He explains in detail the meaning of the phrase. “There will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.”
In the second half, an explanation is given about the address of Allah Most High to the children of Israel. Shaykh Abdul-Rahim draws lessons from the commands given to the Jews of Medina and shares the connections between these verses. Some of the commands given were to fear Allah alone, fulfill the covenant to Him, and not to cover the truth with falsehood.
