Shaykh Abdul-Rahim continues where Allah Most High says that the Jews and Christians will never be pleased until the Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) follows their invented religion. He explains the words “hudaa” (true guidance) and “hawa” (egotistical desire) and draws our attention to the eloquence and clarity of the Arabic language. He elaborates that “haqqan tilawah” (correct recital) holds many meanings. It encompasses proper recitation taking care of all the rules, making lawful what the Quran allows, and prohibiting what the Quran makes unlawful.
