Foundation Wall Cracks

Patching cracks in concrete.

This method can be recommended if the foundation cracks are minor in nature. Another condition for this type of repair is that the foundation can accommodate the estimated future soil movement.

The point of this type of repair for the foundation is mostly aesthetics but it also to provide some structural strength to the cracked areas.

Patching material for this type of repair must be as durable as the surrounding concrete and be tolerant of a wide range of temperatures and moisture conditions.  The patching material should also be similar in color and surface texture.
